Join our team!

  • Business operations intern-3Months

We’re looking for a keen and passionate Intern to join our Operations team. We’re looking for someone who is just starting out in their career, who is ready to learn and grow in a thriving D2C ecommerce team. The role is split across our two consumer-facing brands - Aquaamamma and Aurum+. (We like the letter ‘a’.)

We are a completely remote team so you'll need to be a motivated and autonomous individual who is hungry and willing to get their hands dirty.

This intern role is not doing coffee runs and setting up meeting rooms - in fact there’ll be none of that. You will be immediately thrown into the mix of all things Ops, executing tasks that have a genuine impact on business outcomes. We can’t promise it will be easy, actually if you are looking for “easy” please don’t apply. We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the nitty gritty like the rest of the team does on a daily basis.

This is a PAID internship that will go for 3 months full time with the opportunity to move into a full time junior operations manager role for the right person. You'll be reporting to the CEO but also take daily tasks from

Strategy, Digital, Product Development, Sales and Operations Team Leads.

Here’s a few things you might do in a week.
    • Assist in the execution of our merch plan across all brands, sourcing supply partners, negotiating terms and liaising internally to ensure the seamless delivery. This will be a fun one as we have big merch plans across our brands - from hoodies to drink bottles to whoopie cushions!
    • Coordinate logistics relating to stock transfers between our US, AU and NZ warehouses.
    • Work with our warehouse managers to ensure orders are being packed correctly so they turn up to our customers looking as fabulous as possible.
    • Help look for efficiencies through our supply chain.
    • Assist with coordinating timelines and delivery schedules for new products.
    • Assist with the briefing and management of the Creative team for packaging, working to the direct specifications supplied by the packaging manufacturer.
    • Manage the delivery of packaging and merchandise samples and getting them into the hands of the right people for approvals/feedback in line with the project timeline so we can ensure deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate production budgets and help analyse the return on investment.
    • Assist in negotiations with supply partners.
    You have:
    • A recent degree in marketing, business, operations or communication (or similar)
    • The ability to multitask and juggle multiple things at once
    • An obsession with being organised
    • An entrepreneurial attitude and curiosity about all things ecommerce and operations
    • An analytical mind that doesn’t shy away from a problem. Actually, you crave problems!
    • A can do attitude - what you lack in experience, you make up for in enthusiasm
    • Confidence - you’re able to ask for help when you need it and put your hand up when you can’t do something. You don’t just let things slide and hope they will go unnoticed.
    • A nice personality. Because we do too. We have a non-negotiable no douchebag or egos policy.
    Why intern with us?
    • You will be proud of what you’re building. The best bit of the job is seeing the life-changing impact our products have on people’s lives. Helping people transform their health and wellbeing feels addictively good.

We’re a completely remote team, which means you can work from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Hours are 9-5 AEST.
